Ah… That's a «Poncho». It is open on the sides and is much too short to be a «Jumper». Nice pattern. Thank you for the Crochet Pattern!
To be a «Jumper» it must cover to the thighs just past ones bottom. A «Tunic» is just a little shorter. Both are closed on the sides, similar to dresses.
«Blouses» stop at either the middle of the hips or shorter.
The sleeves themselves create the neck. It would be a «V» shaped neck. The Lacy areas are the sleeves, the «solid» area is the «body» of the sweater/top/blouse. Join the lacy rectangles at their tips (corners) «only». Does this help even a little bit?
She says, above: «Perhaps the local craftsmen have ideas or diagrams or links to simple work suitable for a beginner.»
These diagrams are just what she sees in the photo. She herself is asking for more info. Where she found this photo, I do not know.
Oh! Oh! Oh! First time I have seen this style hat in Crochet! Well Designed & Unusual. Thank you for the Crochet Pattern!
You are asking for information on these, Right? The diagrams are from studying what you see in the photo. Right? Good job!
But I have never seen even this on the internet before. I don't know where you would find more! Good luck.
Wish they showed how the top was done also. Can't see it in the photo.
I did use the word Knitting with the word cross, but I am sure the translator wrote «stitch».
