You think that in Crochet it is difficult to make a simple rectangle so that it doesn't bulge and bubble anywhere? Hum… I Crochet only, and find myself getting «flat» results frequently. I need to force it to «Bend to My Will !!» Attack!!! I WIN!!!

It is a bit easier than you seem to think. Do you have a sewing pattern that is your size? Try a light/small top. Just keep laying the work on it. When you reach an edge, turn and go the other way. Use even tiny bits of yarn, and many colors.
