Um… Just saw this. It «seems» to bypass my main problem. Getting the beads onto the thread or yarn! Needles nor hooks seem to fit UNLESS a person really, truly, Knows what to buy!
What am I missing?
Bubbly & Bright. Well done.
If you prefer Crochet, there are thousands of patterns for them.
Question. Why use a Fabric lining? It will not stretch like yarn. Would it be easier to just sew a hat and be done? I wonder the same about purses. If a person is going to line it, that is the purse. The yarn is then just decoration. I use jute for purses. No lining. Even Crochet the pockets.
Best Wishes, Tracy
For napkins I like my #30 & 40 Mercerized Bamboo Cotton mix. Have not found one I truly like for garments as I am allergic to all wool / animal threads. DK, (Double Knit) and KW, (Knitting Worsted) acrylics are «ok» for Bags, but I dislike the feel. Baby yarn / sock weight / lace weight for shawls / scarves / hats. But I become quickly confused as to what these are made of. I do not comprehend the definition of «polyester» and «nylon» makes me sweat! Basically I do Not understand yarn at all. I just buy the recommended brand & type, make an item, then gift it. Very few are worn by me.
Hey! Boginya! You made an Astounding suit. It IS the BEST.
So you did the skirt differently. That's fine. It stays up, is a beautiful blue, your stitches are even and well made, and you FINISHED! That's saying a lot, as many people start big projects like that and they «never see the light of day!» Now we all have seen this lovely suit.
P.S. Thank you for the Crochet Pattern! In my Favorites now.
Cool Anna. Here in the USA we call it a «SC Foundation Chain».
SC = Single Crochet. We call it SC because one pulls the working yarn through 1-pair-of-loops, 1-time.
The ones you call Single Crochet, we call «Double Crochet» stitches.
Because one pulls the «working yarn» through 2-pairs-of-loops, 2-times.
Whereas you call it a «Single Crochet» because one wraps the yarn around the hook 1-time, first, before making the stitch.
Your way is like the rest of the world. We always want to be different. That's why we are only recently learning/teaching the «Metric System».
We are silly.
Thank you for the Crochet Pattern!

I want to «forget» something like that!
Huh? What?
